It is a story of two boys Amar (Aamir Khan) and Prem (Salman Khan) who want to get rich quickly by taking all the short-cuts in the book. Amar is the son of an honest barber; Murli Manohar (Deven Verma) in Mumbai, while Prem is the son of Bankeylal Bhopali (Jagdeep), a hardworking tailor in Bhopal. Both Amar and Prem sell their fathers shop and house respectively, and zero in on a hill station where a beautiful wealthy heiress Raveena (Raveena Tandon) has come from London accompanied by her friend cum secretary Karishma (Karishma Kapoor) with the intention of getting married to a virtuous Indian. The lucky man to wed Raveena will inherit her father Ram Gopal Bajajs (Paresh Rawal) entire wealth. Amar and Prem see their get rich quick chance and woo Raveena, each trying to out do the other. Enter Teja (Paresh Rawal in a double role) whos sole ambition in life has been to grab his twin brother Ram Gopal Bajajs millions. So Teja plants Bhalla. (Shehzad) and Robert (Vijoo Khote) in Raveenas house, to help him in fulfills his ambition. As the story progresses it turns out to be a mad chase from Ram Gopal Bajajs wealth, full of humor, romance thrills and chills. Bollywood is gearing up for the clash of the titans. But this time it would not be on the screen or in any award function but on the small screen. The entire tinsel town is abuzz with the Dance Premier League mania with Kareena Kapoor , Bipasha Basu , Salman Khan, Arshad Warsi and Sohail Khan having already confirmed their association with the show and having picked up their respective teams.

The latest buzz is that there is merely one slot up for grabs and both Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are eyeing it. The two stars who are seen as big rivals at the Box Office don’t want to miss this golden opportunity of being a part of the show. Dance Premier League would offer them a solid platform for promoting their films. There are also rumours that Salman is trying to settle his scores with Shahrukh by trying to get Akshay on-board. It remains to be seen who grabs the team and who bites the dust in this.

Trust Salman Khan to always court extremes. So far he has done not one short film on a public issue. Now starting next month we’ll see him in as many as 30 of these films on television, one after another, all for a cause.

Almost all the marketing for Wanted will benefit Salman’s new charity concern Being Human in one way or another.

In fact, Boney Kapoor’s company has created 30 public-awareness short films with Salman which will begin airing a week before the release of Wanted. These films will have Salman addressing the public about social issues such as drugs, old people, crime, etc.
Boney says, “It’s true Salman’s keen interest in marketing Wanted has a lot to do with his newly-discovered craving for organized social work. This was a side to Salman that always existed. It just needed to be harnessed. Earlier too he contributed hugely to charitable and social causes. But not in this organized fashion.”

The 30 short films directed by Nikhil Saini are expected to give Salman a new image. He has always been seen to have the picture of an enfant-terrible. Now Salman wants to change that. He has seen his colleagues create public awareness. Now it’s his turn.

Says Boney, “About time. The 30 short films will be unleashed in quick succession one after another. Salman is one of the best human beings I’ve met. We first bonded over vodka and Bacardi in Hyderabad when he was shooting for Judwaa and I for Judaai. Later I asked him to do a 2-day appearance in Sirf Tum. He immediately agreed. When I asked his fee he said he wanted another drinking session like the one in Hyderabad. Then he did No Entry for me at time when I was going through a low. Even for Milenge Milenge he agreed to a cameo until he opted out for whatever reason.”

Salam had abandoned the project because of differences with Shahid Kapoor.
Says Boney, “For Wanted we wanted Salman to completely abandon the bad boy image. Salman is a youth icon. And those 30 short films on public issues we’ve produced will project him as a responsible citizen and an icon who knows his duties.”

Even with Kangana on the sets the person in the spotlight was the foreseer. Our source tells, “Janardhan Baba completely took over the stage. He predicted the future of both Kangana and Salman. About Kangana he said that her work will largely be recognized and she will indeed get a lot of fame. He also predicted that her soon-to-release movie ‘Kites’ will do well. He also opined that the damsel will retire from work at the age of 36.”

However the shocking revelation was made about Sallu! Says our source, “Janardhan Baba told something that everyone was waiting to hear – the age when Salman will get married. Baba said that Salman will get married at the age of 49 to a girl who is not from the industry. The girl would be a North Indian.”

The New York star Neil Nitin Mukesh seems to be grabbing not only Katrina Kaifs attention but public attention as well. He has been in lime light since he started working on the film. He said that the film has given him nice exposure and experience and that he enjoyed his co-starts company during the shoot. It is heard that he shared a very nice rapport with John Abraham and his relationship with Katrina Kaif doesnt need any explanation. As the damsel has herself claimed that Neil Nitin Mukesh is a sweet heart.
